Hanmer Springs, South Island, New Zealand
Hanmer Springs is a lovely mountain spa resort settled by the Swedes but no Swedish pancakes! Hospital built in the 1800’s to take advantage of geo-thermal pools for therapeutical purposes. While sightseeing in Hanmer Springs we spent a day biking on the many dirt trails surrounding this mountain town.
