Great stretch of coastline to cruise along filled with
beaches, resorts and Dunk Island. Cute
little working harbor with sugar shed and fishing boats – very well
protected. Got nice tour of sugar shed.
Hinchinbrook
Channel, Scraggy Point, Sunday, June 2
Enjoyed time out with Footloose (Jon and Irina) and Mystic
(Jenny and Randy) to play a little bocce ball.
Later on we hooked up on Mystic for sundowners and homemade pizza!
Hinchinbrook
Channel, Haycock Island, Saturday, June 1
Hinchinbrook Channel was a very scenic calm waterway having spectacular peaks of Hinchinbrook Island to the east and the rugged Cardwell Range to the west. Lots of wetlands and mangroves, we even spotted our first crocodile in this channel.
