Below are pictures of the damage done to the dock when a catamarin and a ketch slammed into Lorrigray pushing Lorrigray through the dock. Notice that you will see the dock, and then it disappears - it's totally gone.
Unfortunately the ketch (Running Gale) sunk - you can see the mast poking out of the water. The owners of the ketch were very brave and fought heroically to save their boat and lives when their boat came loose up river and they catapulted down the raging river into the sea. After their harrowing river experience, they manage to power upstream through the powerful river current back to the marina. Once they reached the marina, they thought that they were safe. Not true, an unattended out of control catamarin slammed into them. To save the dock and lives, the marina cut loose the two boats. Unfortunately, this attempt failed as the boats crashed into the adjacent dock slamming into Lorrigray.
Fortunately our friends Lady of the Lowlands and Dilligaf survived this ordeal.
